DESCRIPTION AND SITUATION

Located in the neighbourhood of the Convent, this house has a great historical value as it dates of the year 1515, date when the Dominican monks built the convent and the church of Santo Domingo of Guzmán; nowadays faithful witness of the architecture of those times, with a spectacular altarpiece and wooden choir. The convent with time was acquired and divided by private owners, that is how there were formed several housings among those this rural house. The charm that it offers is the non transformation that its owners decided to carry out when restoring it. Like this, they conserved the big stone walls, wooden floors and roofs of original firebrand and original stone floor in the kitchen. At the back part there is a small canarian patio isolated, ideal to relax. Due the original building the bathroom is situated in this area of the house, being necessary to go through the patio for its use. In the other part of the house there is a community corridor for all the housings that stays closed to offer a bigger intimacy to the guest, but where the neighbours can pass. The furniture is old, adapted to the comforts of present time. In the decoration numerous traditional elements that have occupied the house a lifetime have been kept.
The whole architectural group that composes this area harbours a great beauty, buildings of historical like such as an old meeting centre or Casino, the old masculine school closed for eighty years and the square of Santo Domingo.
If besides lodging in a rural area you want to enjoy the activities that this region offers, take advantage of the numerous walking paths or practice mountain bike. In summer you can relax at the natural and municipal pool which is very close, next to the small beaches, as La Caleta, that provide beautiful bathing areas accompanied by restaurants and toilets.
You have to access by car until you arrive to the entrance, where you will find a parking without difficulty.
The house is equipped with: sheets, comforters, blankets, towels, kitchen furniture.
