DESCRIPTION AND SITUATION

Apartments Los Telares have been the first that established turistic industry in Gomera Island, all over in the northern at Hermigua. Twenty years ago, their nice and kind owner Mrs. Maruca Gamez, offered as self-challenge, a different way of lodging .

For that a three-floors building was built divided each one, into ten apartments.
Inside, all of them are similar: studio flat for two people with two single beds or a double one, bathroom and a small kitchen with space enough for dinning and equipped with kitchenware.

Apartments for there and four people are of similar characteristics but wider, adding a living-room with a double sofa.

Some apartments have TV-set but if you want to enjoy this service, your have to ask for it previously.

Sightseeing’s are common: Valle Alto zone. Some apartments have got a small terrace and others a wide window close to the ravine zone and banana trees.

The building relies on a common spacious terrace and lounge. This building is completed by another older one, where we find an ancient textile mill, used by gomeran people to weave their everyday tools such as “traperas” –bedspreads and carpets--. From these textile mills was taken the name of apartments.

We also find in this zone nice common gardens together with a small swimming-pool, suitable for bath in spring or summertime. Ther is also here a handicrafts shop and the common dining-room where, if you wish, by advance payment, you can enjoy half board.


Each apartment is equipped with: sheets, blankets, towels and kitchenware.
